Weddings at Otter Creek 

Our property offers rustic seasonal beauty, captivating scenery, and a charming ambiance that will leave a lasting impression on your guests. It's a place where memories are made and moments are cherished, ideal for celebrating one of the most important days of your life.

Conveniently located between Gadsden and Anniston, Alabama—just 50 minutes from Birmingham—our venue provides a peaceful escape with the perfect blend of countryside elegance and accessibility.

We offer weddings exclusively from April 1 through October 10, taking advantage of the most beautiful time of year on the property. To ensure every couple receives a personalized experience, we host only two weddings per month, and reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Otter Creek Wedding Package

• Facilities For the Rehearsal Dinner, Bridesmaids’ Brunch or Luncheon, Wedding and Reception – The Grand Room and furnished outdoor patio, Garden Pavilion, Game Room, Distillery Tasting Room, Grill House, Commercial Kitchen, Ceremony Site, Pool area, horseshoe and bocce court. The Hill Cottage and Stables can be rented for an additional fee to lodge the bridal party or out of town guests. Firepits can also be used on nights where the temperature is less than 60 degrees for an additional fee.

• Changing areas for the bride and groom – The Grand Room has a bridal suite that is located just feet from the walkway to the Ceremony Site. Many brides also rent the Hill Cottage for the wedding day. Groomsmen have access to the Distillery Tasting Room which is climate controlled with a television and full kitchen and private bathroom.

• Friday/Saturday Weddings may check in at 12pm on Friday for set-up/decorating for the wedding and rehearsal dinner. Checkout time each night is 11:00pm. No overnight guests Saturday night.

• Sunday Weddings have access to the property at 10:00 am Sunday.

• Wedding Planner Services – Otter Creek highly recommends the planning services of Rebecca Williamson (Details by Rebecca). She has detailed knowledge of our property and is well-connected with outside vendors (decor, florals, photographers, entertainment, etc.). Any wedding planning services other than Details by Rebecca must be approved by Otter Creek, and we will assist as a liaison with the approved planner.

• Shuttle to Parking Area and Parking Attendant for the Day of the wedding. Groups in excess of 200 may require additional shuttles.

• Set Up and Take Down – Set up and take down of any outside rentals (tables, chairs, china, glasses, linens, etc.) are the responsibility of the renter and/or wedding planner. All items must be removed the day of the event. Cleanup time is the same as checkout time above.

• Photography – Use of Otter Creek Grounds for Photography for both Engagement and Wedding Pictures.

• Farm Tables – Use of (12) six-foot farm tables and 4 twelve-foot and (2) eight-foot reclaimed wood farm tables for the Grand Room. The tables can be set together for longer tables in needed. If round tables are requested for use in the Grand Room instead of our standard farm tables, there is a fee to remove the farm tables from the Grand Room. Otter Creek has several floor plans for you to consider.

• Oak Cross Back Chairs – Use of 200 oak cross-back chairs in the Grand Room

• 60” Round Tables – (10) 60” Round Tables for outdoor use

• Audio-Visual System – Use of state-of-the-art audio-visual system for background music (not for use during the ceremony)

Venue Pricing

Two-day weekend venue pricing for Friday/Saturday weddings: $12,500

One-day Sunday wedding: $9,000

Guidelines:

• Event insurance policy provided by the client to Otter Creek Farmstead

• Security provided by Otter Creek Farmstead with every wedding ($35 per hour)

• Our damage deposit is $750 (check or credit card on file). Otter Creek will not cash the check and will return it after the walk thru following clean-up.

• No outside alcohol or catering are allowed; all alcohol and catering are provided by Otter Creek Farmstead.

Additional Items Priced Upon Request

• Alcohol – Otter Creek has an alcohol license and no outside alcohol is allowed

• Additional Shuttles may be required depending on final guest count

• Firepits for evenings under 60 degrees

• Lodging for Bridal Party or out of town guests for up to 12 (double occupancy) for Friday. No overnight lodging Saturday night.

• Lodging for the Groom’s Party or out of town guests and Complimentary Breakfast at the Stables up to 14 (double occupancy).

• White Dove Release

• Activities – Fishing; Clay Shooting; Off-site shooting (CMP Talladega Markmanship Park, 22 miles); Golf (Robert Trent Jones Silver Lake Golf Course, 8 miles)
